SAILFEST is Southeastern Connecticut's premiere summertime event attracting over 300,000 people over the three-day festival. Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and Foxwoods Resort Casino are
again proud to bring its annual Fireworks Extravaganza to this year’s 30th annual Sailfest.
The Fireworks Extravaganza is an integral part of the annual Sailfest
celebration. The Tribal Nation takes great pleasure in bringing this
magnificent event to the many surrounding communities that make up
Southern Connecticut. With over 22,000+ shells lighting up the nighttime
sky over the Thames River, this year’s Extravaganza promises
to be the best ever, so why not enjoy it from the best seat in the
house while enjoying a wonderful lobster dinner with your very own
private bathrooms and beer tent! |

Thames Shipyard is proud to be a sponsor of the Mashantucket Pequot Fireworks from their beginning, providing the barges all towing services, and the loading facilities for the fireworks.
